IGN:
FOX's spiritual adaptation of the horror classic screened at Comic-Con. So was this a tale worth resurrecting?
Not so much of a pure reboot as it is a spiritual adaptation of the iconic 1973 film, FOX's new version of The Exorcist hopes to bring some strained, strangled scares to TV. With the story now set in Chicago, the basic elements are the same. A demon has taken hold of a girl - now aged up from pre-teen Regan from the movie - and the mother, Angela (Geena Davis), has become concerned enough to consult with her local priest (Alfonso Herrera) about a possible possession. But is the daughter actually possessed or is she just darkly out of sorts due to having just experienced a traumatic car accident? Well, that's part of the mystery in this first episode.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Brigands: The Quest For Gold Review: The Italian drama follows a group of brigands, embarking on a journey to reclaim power and some hidden gold.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
I will watch it to see what it's like but FOX isn't know for holding on to shows like this. I will be surprised if it makes it so I will give it a couple of episode and then let you know if it's going to make the season or not.
