Who listens to critics?

Imagine if I did. I would have never seen Boondock Saints in my local theater. Or Equilibrium, Gattaca, Dark City, Children of Men. ROFLMAO @ Critics.

That's what I thought at first, but I've seen a trend going lately, and while listening to coworkers and friends talk about movies, I see that there are way too many people paying too much attention to those reviews. I even have friends who decided not to watch certain movies and wait "until they are released online" because reviews from the biggest sites were really bad

After watching suicide squad, my work mate didn't watch it because of hearing the reviews.

That's one example. When I was going to watch BvS and Suicide Squad I faced that same situation. Everyone I casually talked to about them simply said that they weren't going to pay to watch those movies because [insert_big_site_name_here] said the movie was awful...
