Hands of Stone Review - NJ

NJ: But instead of focusing fiercely on Duran's tough slum-kid insecurity, Venezuelan director Jonathan Jakubowicz makes this a film about imperialism, with the Panama Canal Treaty getting more screentime than Don King. Was Duran fighting to assuage his own ego or Panama's? I'm not sure, but I know which would have made the better film.

The story is too old to be commented.
