SS Times: War Dogs; nice, enjoyable late summer surprise As the old saying goes, “the only things you can count on in life are death and taxes.” While the conclusion of one’s life and the government confiscating a percentage of your income are inevitabilities, there are perhaps others things that could make that unfortunate list. Some of those other unavoidable aspects of life include horrendous presidential candidates, and television news keeping a continual and steady focus on the most negative facets of our society. Another one unlikely to disappear from our lives anytime soon is conflict. Why not learn to live with them, and even profit of them? The new film War Dogs takes that idea and runs with it. War Dogs is a film based on the true story of David Packouz and Efraim Diveroli, two 20-somethings who won a $300 million defense contract from the Pentagon.
