The Lost Arcade is a documentary without focus. It is about the employees. It is about the owner. It is about the people who went to this arcade. It is about the culture of this one place. It is about the culture of video arcades in general. It is about the rise of the console. It is about the death of all arcades. It is about the survival of two arcades. On and on it hops over the course of 80 minutes from one thing to the next, sometimes repeating itself, sometimes offering some new tidbit, and never managing to convince the audience to love that which we have all lost in the same way those who were there during the heyday of Chinatown Fair loved it.
