Niner Times: Confession: I’ve never seen the original “Pete’s Dragon.” I feel like an awful critic because of it, but it’s simply the honest truth. The bright side to this is that I can get through this whole review without ever having to compare the film to the original. From what I’ve seen though, the film does not seem to share many similarities with the original, which might be its greatest strength. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with “Pete’s Dragon,” as Disney didn’t seem to market the film all that much, but that mystery was quite nice heading into a film like this. From the little I saw and the typical trend of Disney live-action remakes, I figured the film to be a large scale, action packed family adventure.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
