Breck Eisner is in talks to direct a the feature reboot of the beloved horror franchise Friday the 13th which is being brought back to life at Paramount Pictures, a studio that has had had some great success re-imagining franchises such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As with Turtles, Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes will be producing the project. The film is expected to be released sometime next year.
