Suicide Squad has all of the trappings of an amazing film; a star-studded cast, interesting source material, and an eccentric director who doesn’t know when to say when. Sadly, Suicide Squad fails to be greater than the sum of its parts; presenting a totally disparate story with talent that would have been better served in another film. That’s not to say David Ayer’s comic book blockbuster doesn’t have some fun along the way.
