The Rebels: Season 3 premiere skips forward in time a bit from where Season 2 ended and shows more evolution for the series. Ezra and Kanan are both in a very different place than they were when this show began and it’s very cool to see how Rebels is allowing these characters to grow and change – and not always in a commendable direction. The premiere also displays how Rebels is continuing to evolve visually, with a moment near the end including an especially stirring, dynamic visual.
