**********************SPOILERS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS************* * **

I do agree. There's a lot about the way her character is built that makes her seem emphatic and caring sometimes, towards her children, but at the end of the day she's incapable of strong emotions. She's not a robot, she cried when Geoffrey died, but her grief was not nearly as long lasting as a normal mother's. She was distraught when her daughter died, but got over it pretty quick. But Tommen's death really showed her heartless side, I was expecting her to break down after everything she did was for Tommen and he killed himself, but she just glanced at her last child's dead body and asked for it to be buried, then went on to take the crown with a subtle smirk on her face, as if that's the most important thing to her.

It also shows some progression at her heartlessness. She got progressively colder with each dying child, and now she literally has nothing to lose except her crown, brilliant characterization IMO.
