CB: The Walking Dead is not only the most watched series on cable but, likely as a result, it is also the most talked about show on Twitter from the 2015-2016 season.
According to new numbers released by Nielsen, The Walking Dead took the trophy for most talked about show last season with an average of 435,000 tweets sent per episode. Almost half a million tweets were enough to edge the closest competition which came from Fox's music drama Empire. Empire did manage to top The Walking Dead with its premiere this season, though, earning 1.3 million tweets in the U.S. about the September 2015 episode.
