FGE - For all intents and purposes I found myself really enjoying 2014’s reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninjas Turtles. Yes, there were the obligatory ass shots and other unnecessary sexist content you typically find in any film that Michael Bay gets his filthy mitts on (Mikey’s shell tightening, really?), but overall it was an enjoyable action movie that surprised many people and made for an interesting adventure that saw the turtles clamp down and kick ass. Two years later, everyone’s favourite pizza loving half-shell heroes are back in Out of the Shadows and I’m pleased to report, it provides just as much fun and adventure as the first flick, albeit with some unique and unexpected spins that will have fans of the IP frothing at the mouth!
