I can remember sitting in a dorm room in 2010 and seeing the first trailer for the newest AMC original series, The Walking Dead. The commercial ended, my friends and I all looked at each other, jaws on the floor, knowing we couldn't wait for that show. We all sat down on October 31, 2010, and our lives were changed forever. For the rest of college, we didn't miss a Sunday night episode of TWD; it had become a sort of ritual for us with Robert Kirkman becoming our hero. After just a few episodes, I started reading his comics, and I was hooked even further. The Walking Dead had become one of my favorite stories I'd ever engaged in.
