On the series premiere of Preacher, life is about to change for a small Texas town preacher when he becomes possessed by a mysterious entity.
That was one outrageous hour of television.
Heading into Preacher Season 1 Episode 1, I had a slight knowledge of what it was all about. I've read about ten issues of the comic series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon from which the show is based, and I'm glad I did.
I'm not sure I would have understood everything that was going on if I hadn't.
Not that I wouldn't have enjoyed every minute, there just would have been a lot of head scratching.
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
I don't know which premiere they saw but the one I saw was an hour and a half and it was mind boggling. Just the first minute the way it started was one of a kind so there was no way I was missing the rest and of course it didn't miss a beat. Although when he asked God for an answer I'm not sure that was God that came thru those doors with his answer and knocked him out.
