Marvel and DC are two of the most successful creators of comic book superheroes and villains. They have made many of the most iconic characters across generations and continue to expand their audience. With DC created in 1934 and Marvel five years later in 1939, the two companies have competed for almost their entire existence, vying for control of the comic book market. During these years, hundreds of new and unique characters emerged from both sides, but some of them are peculiarly similar.
