EB: The stage is set, the teams have been chosen, it’s finally time for Civil War, but does the latest MCU mashup film come through on its promises of tragedy and loss? Well, I guess that’s up to the viewer, but I for one feel like the Russo Brothers missed out on a huge opportunity to infuse a level of emotion into a comic book movie unlike any released before it. This is a shame because this particular entry in the MCU is ripe for telling a heartbreaking tale, but for one reason or another the studio mainly played it safe.
