Deadline:
Paramount and MGM are setting Big Bad Wolves helmers Aharon Keshales & Navot Papushado to direct Bruce Willis in Death Wish, the revamp of the Charles Bronson vigilante franchise that is adapted from the Brian Garfield novel. Production will begin by the summer, I hear. Paramount released the original 1974 hit in conjunction with the Dino De Laurentiis Company, and MGM ended up with those rights, which is why the studios are teamed. Roger Birnbaum is producing.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I loved Charles Bronson in Death Wish...I think they made too many but the first and second one were really good.
It is weird to reboot this but I will probably watch it because of Willis.
Yes! Bruce Willis is perfect for this. I've kept thinking he would have been great in Olympus Has Fallen and now London Has Fallen, and have just wanted to see him in some cool action movies again.
I'm always down for something Punisher-ish.
I guess at this point they will reboot Dirty Harry as well...
