FGE - Triple 9 is a heist story about crooked cops, Russian mobsters, family ties, one 'boy scout' officer, and just about everything else. Director, John Hillcoat (The Road, Lawless), throws the kitchen sink at audiences in this intense crime thriller; leaving moviegoers in the dark in terms of trying to follow this somewhat long, convoluted story. Despite its shortcomings, multiple heart-pounding action sequences and a slew of A-list actors are entertaining enough to make Triple 9 an overall, filmmaking success – albeit a flawed one.

I want to see this movie so bad. The premise alone makes it sound interesting. I'm hoping it excels in story and acting. Normally these movies are nothing but action which turns me off, but this one actually seems like it has something more.
