Shortlist
It seems Daniel Craig HAS fired his last Walther PPK as James Bond. At least that’s according to his good friend, the actor Mark Strong.
Strong was chatting with ShortList to promote upcoming comedy Grimsby, when the conversation got on to James Bond. We put it to Strong that he’d make an excellent addition to any Bond cast, when the star of Kingsman, Kick Ass and Body Of Lies revealed that such a move was unlikely, dropping the ultimate Bond bombshell.

I won't believe it until I hear it come out of Craig's mouth. He said as long as Sam Mendes kept directing he would consider making another one.
Unfortunately, Craig will probably do it just for the money and his performance will suffer for it. You could almost feel him phoning it in throughout Spectre. If he hates Bond as much as he seems, then it's showing.
Spectre for me ended with Craigs Bond arc at a close
Spoilers
On the bridge he decided to arrest Blofeld instead of killing him, as he looked to his left he saw M, on the right he saw Madeleine. M represented his work as a 00 agent while Madeleine represented the first girl Bond could get closer to and finally settle down with leaving his agent work behind him.
In the end he chose Madeleine and left Blofeld with MI6
For me Craigs Bond was kind of like what Nolan did with Batman in his Dark Knight trilogy. The characters origin, the rise, the fall and finally conclusion.
Casino Royale was his first mission as a 00 agent
Quantum of Solace was him going rouge and experiencing loss for the first time. The fall of Bond (quite literally as it was the worst in his arc)
Skyfall was the rise
Spectre was him tying up loose ends and finally settling down. Blofeld was basically the main behind everything in the other three films.
In my opinion they need to do a soft reboot, start with a new timeline, new actors and adapt John Gardner's Bond novels. The first novel title would be perfect for a brand new start
James Bond: Licence Renewed
For Special Services, Icebreaker, Role of Honour, Nobody Lives for Ever, No Deals, Mr. Bond, Scorpius, Win, Lose or Die and so on
I want to see Bond take it's self a little less serious. Take the best parts of the old Bond films and the new. Craig was far too serious and it felt like more like Bourne then Bond at times
The way things are going within the movie industry, I wouldn't be suprised if they cast Rebel Wilson as the next Bond...
Ummm wasnt it known he would play Bond one last time in Spectre and then retire?
