Daredevil season one launched the Marvel TV/Netflix partnership to critical acclaim, and releasing the second season, which also introduces the Punisher and Elektra to the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the same day that WB is trying to build their own cinematic universe for DC Entertainment's cast of characters is clearly a deliberate plan.
