Tom Holland Reveals An Interesting Spider-Man Tidbit

SHH: By now, you’ve probably already watched the new Captain America: Civil War teaser trailer a few dozen times. If not, here it is.

One thing we don’t get to see in the new “Civil War” trailer is any sign of the new Spider-Man, who returns to the screen under the Marvel Studios aegis with Peter Parker played by 19-year-old Tom Holland (The Impossible).

“I think one of the most interesting things about Peter Parker for us is that he’s the only person in the MCU now that has a secret identity, so we all know who everyone else is. I think it’s quite interesting to go back to that hiding behind a mask.”

He's kidding right? Ant Man...Daredevil

Come on Tom

Least be arsed to research the universe your joining if you're such a fan as you say

A lot of their closest allies know who Ant-man and Daredevil are. For Peter, it's something he's hiding from absolutely everyone. At least I think that's what he meant. I agree though, it's not the "highlight" of the character. It's just a small spotlight on the MCU Spidey I guess.

Yeah but when he says "secret identity" he means what it literally is in the comic...a masked superhero where the general public don't know who they are

Most of the superhero characters within Marvel and even DC, the ones who work in teams usually know who each other are so really the secret identity thing focuses more on the public not knowing who they are, not each other...even when we are talking about Civil War which is what the original story was about.

Tom seems like he's trying to play up to that and say he's the only one with a secret identity but it's simply not true even if the Avengers or others don't know who he is.

I mean Iron Man, Captain American, Thor, Black Widow don't know Daredevil. Even with Ant Man does Falcon actually know Ant Mans name, to grab Scotts attention he had to ask around only for Scott to find out that Falcon is simply looking for him. I'd understand if Falcon walked through the door up to Scott and was like "I've been looking for you...Ant Man"

May I say I love how Tom has done what most actors do when they get the part

"Oh I've been such a fan of (insert character name here) since I was a kid. My (insert family member or friend here) used to (insert activity involving superhero character here) when I was little and growing up. I'm such a massive fan and I am so glad to finally be able to play my "childhood" hero".

Haha reminds me of you, when you pretended to copy and paste "Azazel" from the headline title because you were "at work" when clearly it was easier to respell his name correctly to Azrael. Haha you pretend to know about every thing as well. Clearly you don't know anything. Haha.

Oh get over it I made a spelling mistake boo f******* hoo

RetrospectRealm3063d ago

Seriously? Dogging a working actor because he isn't caught up to date with everything the MCU has to offer? You can be a huge fan of the comics and not be a super fan of the MCU. Get over it.

-Foxtrot3063d ago

Unlike us though it's his job to know

Like most of the time you disagree with me, mostly because of your sad grudge, you can surely take your own advice and "get over" my comment

RetrospectRealm3063d ago

Sad grudge? Lol You blocked me.

And it is not his job to know. Didn't Krysten Ritter say she hasn't seen any of the other MCU films? Lol

Yokan3062d ago

Boohoo, that's what you have to say. You're nothing but a fake. It seems hard for you to understand that nobody here likes you and the fact that you think you understand comics/video games/films/technology you're a phony.

I think he means that we won't see his face in Civil War.
