Krysten Ritter’s life is about to change forever. Netflix’s much-anticipated noir series, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, debuts today, in which Ritter plays the hard-drinking, trash-talking, no-bullshit private-eye protagonist. It’s a Marvel Cinematic Universe property, meaning Jessica technically occupies the same New York as Iron Man, Daredevil, and other costumed crusaders, but the show is quite light on superpowers — Jessica is very strong and can jump pretty high, and that’s about it. Nevertheless: This is Marvel. Ritter is a Marvel hero now. There’s no going back.
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Sure glad she landed the part. She owns this show as much as David Tennant does. Jessica Jones may already be better than Daredevil by this point, and Daredevil was my favorite Marvel thing period this year, even over Age of Ultron.
