"To watch this young kid take on such a big responsibility and go toe-to-toe on screen with an actor like Idris Elba is nothing short of phenomenal. Attah’s portrayal of Agu made me wonder why more directors and filmmakers don’t take a more progressive approach like Fukunaga to cast a film. Throughout the film, we get to see almost every type of emotion humanly possible from Agu, and Attah perfects them. There is no character throughout the duration of Beasts that feels more genuine than Agu. It was truly one of the best performances I have seen from a child actor in a very long time."
