Disney has released the first poster for the Finding Nemo sequel, Finding Dory. The film, directed by Finding Nemo helmer Andrew Stanton, follows Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) searching for answers about her past and her family with the help of Marlin (Albert Brooks) and Nemo. This poster doesn’t tell you that, and it doesn’t really need to tell you much of anything because a Finding Nemo sequel is a license to print money. The film is arguably Pixar’s most valuable franchise. Cars can generate a lot of merchandise, and Toy Story matters to the company’s history, but Nemo is the generational movie. It swam its way into the heart of a generation that demanded the DVD be played on a constant loop, and there’s no way they’re going to skip the sequel.
