2016 will play host to one of the biggest comic book movie events in history in the form of Captain America: Civil War. The movie will see Captain America and Iron Man forming two opposing teams of heroes and battling over their contrasting views on the Sokovia Accords – the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of the Superhuman Registration Act.
It’s going to be a huge scale spectacle, but it’s very much grounded in terms of its location – that of Earth – but Captain America actor Chris Evans stated that it will actually lay the foundations for the events in 2018 and 2019’s Avengers: Infinity War movies.
