Variety: Legendary Pictures’ and Warner Bros.’ “Kong: Skull Island” will shoot in Australia it was announced Monday.
The announcement was made by Annastacia Palaszczuk, premier of the state of Queensland, who said that it will film in the Village Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast. Pre production will begin this month and lensing take place in early 2016. The production will also take in two other international locations, not revealed, Palaszczuk said.
