Jacky Petters from Film Takeout writes:
"The disappointment of the film doesn’t fall on Bill Murray in the slightest. He really exemplified the character of Richie Lanz and made him believable and, quite possibly, even loveable. It is unfortunate that his role is the only thing keeping the entire film together. The loss of quality within story and production is enough to make viewers detach themselves from really being able to enjoy the film."
