Can't he lose his life instead?

RetrospectRealm3117d ago

I'll bet he'll take over the show someday. Not to mention I don't get the hate about him. He was a teenager. He was rebellious a bit. So what?

Hopefully he does

Seriously he serves no purpose now and for those saying "he could take over"....why? They know hardly none of us like the character so why p*** most of your audience off. The show would end with Rick, anything after wouldn't be the same.

They should have kept Lori alive in Season 3 and actually keep that bit where she is shot by Lily, but instead of Judith being killed along with her it would be Carl...like he trips and falls, Lori see's, runs over in the battlefield to help him up and when she's got him BANG, she is shot and the bullet goes through both of them.

The eye scene is the last good scene to kill Carl off for good. Make it seem like he'll loose his eye in the final episode but kill him off. The way it happens in the comics is not something you'd be able to come back from.

The best thing about this moment is that if it was the Season 6 or the mid season finale of Season 7 you could always skip ahead 3 years like in the comic where Rick and co have built up a huge settlement in Alexandria. This time jump would get past Ricks loss for his son and the obvious mental problems he'd face....you know since we don't want to see him on another downer. By then Judith will be grown up abit and she'd mostly likely be taken of by Carol or Maggie while Rick gets things done.

In my opinion it would be more interesting to see Judith take over in a series finale time jump as she was the one born into this world.

I don't understand the hate he gets. Yeah, he WAS annoying as fuck a few years ago. But he's a good actor. If your genuinely annoyed with a character, that's the actor doing a good job.
And now the character is a bonafide badass. He kicks ass very competently and he usually tends to have the more focused mined to his dad now. He's much more like Rick used to be.

I like Carl now. Never used to. But the last 2 seasons have really changed my opinion on him.

Plus how can you hate on someone as lyrically talented as "Carl Poppa" lol

OJSoFunky3116d ago

I don't think it'll happen, the thing that happened at the start of season 2 is as close as it'll get

Why does he get so much hate? Like they say his character serves no purpose. Well, except for Dixon, no one on that show serves a purpose that can't be replaced.
