Variety:
FX’s “American Horror Story: Hotel” hasn’t premiered yet, but that hasn’t stopped co-creator Ryan Murphy from asking star Lady Gaga to return for more screen time.
On Tuesday, he Tweeted a plea for the musician to return to the series, writing “Lady Gaga is so brilliant in AHS Season 5 that yesterday I officially asked her to join Season 6. Say yes @ladygaga!”
Murphy may be biased, but he’s not the only one who thinks the casting helped this chapter in the anthology series.
“Whatever the shortcomings, the extraordinarily well-timed addition of Gaga to the mix should render any naysaying moot, practically speaking, establishing this as a sort-of event that plenty of people will feel obligated to check out (or in),” writes Variety TV columnist Brian Lowry. “Viewed that way, Gaga’s primary role is to help bait the hook, at one point describing the hotel to an outsider by purring, ‘Maybe this place is special.'”
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
Good idea, from what I understand she's doing great.
They really need stop singers getting easy acting gigs
She fits the show as an aesthetic, but I doubt her acting chops are what people will remember her for.
