The film received its world premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas on Thursday and reviews have mostly ranged from highly encouraging to Holy Crap I’ve seen a Kurt Russell cannibal Western and can now die happy.
Directed by Craig S. Zahler and costarring Patrick Wilson and Richard Jenkins, Bone Tomahawk will arrive in cinemas, on iTunes and via VOD, on Oct 23. You can exclusively see the film’s first trailer below.

Kurt Russell is perfect for a western! Even so, this film just look alright. I feel like it's got too much of a serious tone. Most of the great westerns were great because they were very witty and EXTREMELY clever.
Looks like it's going to be good.
I love this guy so much. Done so many classics. Glad he making a comeback to the big screen.
