Deadline: ABC has given an off-cycle pilot production order to Downward Dog, a single-camera, half hour comedy about a woman and her dog, from Legendary TV. The project, which will be a co-production between Legendary TV and ABC Studios, began as a web series produced by Animal Media Group and creators/writers Samm Hodges and Michael Killen. Hodges and Killen will executive produce the series with Mosaic Media Group’s Jimmy Miller and Sam Hansen and Animal’s Kathy Dziubek.
