King Kong On Move To Warner Bros, Presaging Godzilla Monster Matchup

From Deadline:

In a movie move that portends a clash of giant monsters, Legendary Pictures’ Thomas Tull is moving his untitled Skull Island King Kong film to Warner Bros. There's some problems with this, like getting them close to the same playing field (Godizlla is massive, Kong isn't skyscraper size), but the fanboy in me is very giddy right now.

They would probably make Kong radioactive or something lol. He eats a radioactive banana and BAAAAAAM!

Sadly, I could see them doing something along those lines...

Weren't they roughly the same size in that 60's movie? What if you slightly shrink Gozilla and make Kong taller to some degree. Meet them at the middle. Would that look wrong from either side?

At the end of the day I think you can get away with making Kong bigger but making Godzilla smaller would make it look odd in my opinion. Kong's ranged in sizes while Godzilla has always been a skyscraper .

This would be like boot vs. ant... pointless

Just leave these as their own standalone franchises. Not everything has to be like Marvel. Like come on, they haven't even made a new King Kong movie yet. At least wait for the first one to be a massive hit.
