Deadline: Paramount and Skydance’s summer is drawing to a close with some nice bumps for their big holiday releases. Last week, both Terminator: Genisys and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation crossed $300M at the international box office. The latter has now flown over the $500M milestone worldwide with $511.2M to date. This is without China which opens on Tuesday. Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol‘s final tally was $694.7M; $101M of which came from the Middle Kingdom. With expansion in that market since 2011, and a partnership with Alibaba Pictures and China Movie Channel, Rogue Nation will well outpace that (Terminator is currently at $108.8M after three China frames).
