While it may not have directly fit well into an eight-episode TV format, the idea of telling a neo-noir tale - heavy on psychological exposition and light on actual justice - was a bold experiment. This wasn't going to work for all viewers, though if you'll recall Season 1's finale wasn't a big hit with some because Marty and Rust didn't get to peel the onion more. And back then, as great as Season 1 was, fans discovered, for all their theories about the cult and so on, that the show was really about those two characters.
No Pressure Review: This is an odd light-hearted watch that is a bit confused whether it wants to paints its characters in a good or bad light.
