While covering the 41st Annual Saturn Awards in Burbank, we got a chance to talk to director James Gunn about his current and upcoming projects, including The Belko Experiment and Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Gunn, who received the award for Best Film Director, talked briefly about The Belko Experiment, calling the cast “the best ensemble he’s ever seen in his life.” Guardians fans might take issue with that statement, but rest assured Gunn also teased a bit about the Marvel sequel.
