CB: A new international trailer for Supergirl has been released online.
Supergirl is an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), Superman’s (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be. Twelve-year-old Kara escaped the doomed planet Krypton with her parents’ help at the same time as the infant Kal-El.

This could have been so much more.
So she's basically Felicity Smoak from Arrow but with Superpowers. Why on Earth did they make her so bubbly? I know this show isn't aimed at me but a bit of authenticity wouldn't have been such a bad thing. I will say Mellissa is pretty good looking.
People, let us all stop trashing this show before it has premiered. It seems fun so far, so just give it a shot. At least it returns to a lighter tone, which Man of Steel could have used.
Why don't they release the series now. They clearly leaked in on purpose and got the good reactions they were hoping for but why make us wait. It will be the first DC show or movie to be good outside of the Batman movies. I liked the first episode, but I swear to god if they keep talking about superman every five minutes but are afraid to say his name. Also way better than Man of Steel....but literally a pile of worm infested dog poo is better so I don't know if that means much.
