CB: Actor Patrick Macnee, star of the classic Avengers television show, had died.
Macnee, who passed at the age of 93 from natural causes, was best known for his role as John Steed on The Avengers. Macnee stared in the popular spy-fy series from 1961 to 1969, and its revival "The New Avengers" in the seventies. Macnee's Steed was recognized for his iconic bowler hat and umbrella.
