The Uncharted Movie Has Lost Its Director

The Uncharted movie, originally scheduled to hit theaters June 10, 2016, has lost Seth Gordon as its director. The script has also been sent back to be worked on, and internal disagreements regarding the film's budget and scope have arisen within Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Amy Hennig isn't even working on the games anymore. What makes you think she'll wanna work on the movie?

Personally i love what Amy Hennig did i really do but there can be massive improvements. I mean Nate and Elena hooked up at the end of DF but became broken up and began dating Chloe between DF and AT. He then broke up with Chloe at the end of AT to hook up with Elena AGAIN (how it should be) but between AT and DD they were engaged but broke up!? <--- We get all of that in the form of exposition. :L Hearing it out loud now though i'm starting to think it may not be such a bad idea.

Anyways, at this rate we'll never get this movie.... Uncharted and The Last of Us both have pretty good chances of breaking the "all videi gamo to movie adaptations are poo' streak we have going. And yeah, i said poo streak.

Why? Uncharted was her creation, she was the main woman behind it when she was the creative director and shaped it into what it was.

Just because she's not there doesn't mean she can't work for Sony Pictures. The gaming industry is completely different to the film one. Plus before joining ND she wanted to become a script writer.

If they can get Neil for the Last of Us, I don't see why they can't get Amy for Uncharted. She just needs to freshen the script up a bit and condense it down. Seriously it's not that hard.

Oh I agree she should. My point was, would she want too? She obviously left after Drake's Deception for a reason. I doubt she'll wanna go back. Getting Neil Druckmann for The last of us was a stroke of genius.
