Considering a series is in need of a reboot after its forward momentum has been lost, the actual interest or value is openly questioned (criticism validated with every failed remake). Never watched the Dredd reboot.

Batman (Bale), Bond (Craig), Planet of the apes and Star Trek reboots were/are fantastic though.
