IGN: Family Guy celebrated a very impressive milestone tonight. Sure, 250 episodes is chump change compared to The Simpsons' 25-year run, but relative to just about anything else on television it's quite the accomplishment. That said, the show has definitely seen better days. The characterization has become looser, the humor more focused on shock value, and the cutaway gags more random and excessive. None of this has changed for the 250th episode. "Fighting Irish" would have been a pretty by-the-numbers, late-era Family Guy installment if not for its one saving grace - Mr. Liam Neeson.
