TV Equals: "On a reflective episode of “The Vampire Diaries,” Stefan and Elena weighed the options of being human versus being a vampire, as Stefan tried to help Enzo wrangle Lily into behaving herself and the guys and girls respectively threw bachelor and bachelorette parties for Alaric and Jo, in “I’d Leave My Happy Home for You.” Perhaps needless to say, this episode was almost entirely set-up for the final two episodes of the season, albeit with a brief flurry of action, courtesy of the wily Lily. As such, it wasn’t bad, just a bit meh overall."
