CB: As Marvel's presence on the small screen keeps growing, which direction will the studio head in next?
Recent reports have indicated that Marvel is considering a spinoff series for its flagship television show, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. And in a separate rumor, Marvel and Oscar-winning producer John Ridley have reportedly agreed to join forces for another ABC television series that promises to "reinvent" a classic superhero.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
I'd be really ticked off if anything Agents of SHIELD related not a spin off. The show should end to make room for other projects more deserving. I still can't believe they are thinking about another season and a spin off while they don't know what to do with Agent Carter, something which actually deserves another season.
My picks for a TV series, as long as it's Netflix since they've handed Daredevil so well are
1) The Punisher.
2) Blade (Setting it in the UK for a bit would be a nice change...Captain Britain references maybe)
3) Ghostrider (If they can find a way to transition all the Hell/Demons stuff in quite nicely). They managed to find a way to keep Thor grounded while still making him look "God like" with "magic" and the like so maybe they can do the same here and write the demon stuff off as another dimension)
I'd really like to see a live-action take on She-Hulk. It'd be like The Good Wife meets Agents of SHIELD.
