Doubt it. Especially the whole zorro was filmed in 1940, therefor the movie takes place in 1940. That's always been the movie or at least the most used one when Bruce lost his parents.

Also a more hands on Alfred can mean many things because let's face it, comparing the dark knight Alfred to the comics, animated shows, he is by far the least hands one. In the comics and show he actually does fight and train Bruce here and there.

I doubt it too. It is interesting though. I think if they wanted to the filmmakers could have taken this route but it would be too risky. It is a shame though. I think films should aim to adapt from other mediums in greater ways. Changing source material and making something unique is far more interesting than seeing the same thing we have seen again and again.

That's be absolutely insane, but then again, this is a Zack Snyder film, after all. Wouldn't be above his tastes. But then, why was Affleck gazing at the Bat suit? Was he just jelly?

No..c'mon...no...we have already seen Ben Affleck in the suit. No way would he take the role as Robin. Maybe Alfred will be different as in being more supportive of Bruce Wayne being Batman than Cain's Alfred was but no, I can't get behind this theory.
