'Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice' Trailer Tease Coming This Thursday Plus More Details

LR

DC fans it seems that you will be able to see the long awaited trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice sooner than you thought.

According to our own El Mayimbe, director Zack Snyder will release five seconds from the teaser trailer of the film this coming Thursday at 9AM PST, just before the Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel at Star Wars Celebration. After that you will be able to sign up (link will be provided) and check out the full trailer on Monday April 20th at whatever theater is listed at the sign up. Basically something like what The Amazing Spider-Man 2 did a few years ago.

didn't they already show a teaser back at comic con? just release the trailer. DC haven't shown us anything yet, are they waving the white flag already?

It's already confirmed for next week dude lol. Plus the movie doesn't come out for another 11 months. Releasing it too soon would kill all hype by the time the film released.

We have been waiting for this movie for how long and you tell me how is releasing a trailer now will kill it.? We've seen nothing but pictures

Porcelain_Chicken3297d ago

I assume this was for me. I didn't say NOW was too early. It's pretty obvious that if you begin marketing too early it won't hold as much hype as when you begin marketing at least a year off. We've now been waiting since 2013 for this movie and then it was too early. Hell even the rumored December/January dates felt too early, releasing a trailer for a movie 3 years before its release would kill the hype. Obviously. He said if this was their way of giving up meaning he wanted a trailer a long time ago. Which as glorious as that would be is obviously financial suicicde. I've never seen any company begin marketing a movie a year and a half away from release date. This one was no different no matter how much we all want to see it.

And I wouldn't count those pics as much in the form of marketing as I do little snippets to keep the people interested until the real ads come along. :)

I'll take a quote from Super Troopers "Mother of god." :D

Still a year away; I'll have plenty of time to absorb every frame.
