CB

After years of anticipation, Avengers: Age Of Ultron finally went live in the form of critics screenings this evening. It’ll still be weeks before members of the general public are able to consume it, but to everyone’s delight, the movie is apparently awesome, at least if you can rely on the word of the first batch of paid movie experts!

I'm going to see it, but I hope that the same level of praise is given to SvB and Justice League and not this nitpicking crap I see day in and day out. Same level of attention are in both movies, these guys are not idiots.

Agreed. DC is nitpicked to death! Every move they make is a friggin crime against nature. If they do something too different then it is sh-t and will not work. If it is too close to what Marvel is doing then it is a cheap copy not worth watching. Definitley a lot of bias. Sad that we can't just enjoy both.

I wandered into Imdb and there are a helluva lot of spoilers. I won't share anything but AoU sounds amazing!

DC is not nit picked to death.

There would be nothing wrong with them following Marvels "layout", it wouldn't be a cheap copy as the stories and characters are completely different. Hell they could of done it better then Marvel as they were all over the place at first. They had 2 Iron Man films in Phase one and didn't start with Ant Man. DC had the chance to properly lay it out learning from Marvels mistakes to make the whole thing better then them.

Superman (Cameo from Aquaman and reference of Cyborg)
Batman (Cameo from the Flash)
Wonder Woman (Cameo from the Green Lantern)
Justice League all together and introduces Martian Manhunter.

"Phase A" complete.

Besides despite the fact Age of Ultron looks good and probably will be you can't take first reactions seriously. It's easy to pick out the good ones while leaving ones who didn't like it. The same can happen to most hyped up films out there.

Porcelain_Chicken3301d ago

Can't post a link, I'm on a mobile phone! XD The thread was started by a guy called MrJoseph85 who claims to have attended a "second screening" or something like that. Not sure if it's real or not but he answered every question with a lot of detail. So it might not be worth the risk!
