The Hergula: Joel Edgerton is making his long-film directorial debut with The Gift, only having directed two short films previously. While his first major film, Joel Edgerton is a well-known actor, having starred in films like Warrior (2011), The Thing (2011) and Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014). Not only is Edgerton directing The Gift, he is also acting in it, alongside Jason Bateman, Rebecca Hall and Beau Knapp.
The Gift is a thriller flick, telling the tale of a husband and wife who try to reinvigorate their relationship. However, things don’t go as planned when Simon (Bateman) comes across an old acquaintance by the name of Gordo (Edgerton).
