Why don't they just hire Kojima to do it, he's apparently leaving Konami or he's already left (rumours are all over the place) so why not just get him to do this.

Everything Jay has wrote has been rated poorly so I don't see how he's "In-demand"

Screen-writing's an inherently different art-form than game design. Kojima's always incorporated cinematic elements into his games, but none of them ever amount to more than codec conversations and hidden files to drum up plot.

Would Kojima want to though? The guy has been trying to get away from the MGS series for a while. Now that he's free from the confines of Konami's basement, I don't see him starting another franchise revolving Metal Gear. Even if it is a movie.

Maybe David Hayter can write it. He did a pretty good job with X-men and Watchmen and nobody knows the Metal Gear mythos as much as him. Well besides Kojima of course.

Supposedly his movies that are not made on screen have gained awards, but if they were so good then they'd be made lol

Honestly this movie is just going to be bad. Like most video game movies they are just shoving it out there to make a quick buck and not make anything of it....
