To put it bluntly, The Offer was disappointing in almost every way. The dialogue-heavy opening was a meandering snooze-fest, Oliver’s existential crisis was solved in record time (it’s taken me longer to pick what I’m having for lunch, some days), and the whole episode was a giant, illogical mess.
