The seventh installment of the Fast and Furious movie series is just around the corner. Furious 7 marks the continuation of the franchise, making it one of the most successful and longest movie series ever made, second only to Harry Potter which had a total of eight installments. One of the most iconic things about this movie is probably the untimely death of one of its lead actors, Paul Walker, which took place during shooting. This was devastating news to many. Walker’s death led to some adjustments that were needed during the shooting period. Stand-ins were brought in and Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) was applied so that his face would still be used in the movie. The filmmakers chose to systematically remove his character in a way that would honour his death. Another interesting thing about this installment is that it features international actor Jason Statham as the new antagonist Deckard Shaw, who was introduced at the end of Fast and Furious 6.
