WC: Say what you will about the Simpsons’ late teen years (as troubled as those of a real teenager), recent seasons have been a return to form, and season twenty-six has continued that theme. For followers of the show since the beginning, it’s not quite a return to golden era Simpsons, but you might say that the show is experiencing something of a bronze age. Episodes are more entertaining than not, and the laugh ratio is slowly going back up.
